Property Tax Campaign includes sanitation inspectors: From October 1st, identified properties will be inspected on site; failure to receive a tax assessment will result in a 100% penalty.

The Patna Municipal Corporation has added sanitation inspectors, sector supervisors, and zone in-charges to the revenue team to expedite its property tax-related campaign. These personnel have been given special training on the process of property tax assessment, self-assessment, tax payment, and site inspection. On the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Yashpal Meena, the personnel have been trained on new property tax assessments and revaluation of old properties.
