Due to a continuous rise in the water level of the Ganges, the river has crossed the danger mark at several major ghats in Patna. At Gandhi Ghat, the Ganges is flowing 1.11 meters above the danger mark, while at Digha Ghat, it is flowing 35 centimeters above. The Ganges has also reached above the danger mark in Maner and Hathidah. On the other hand, the Punpun River is also flowing about two meters above the danger mark.
