Patna - An executive engineer has been arrested for taking a bribe of 1.4 lakh rupees. He was demanding 3 lakh rupees and several documents were recovered from his house along with 8.36 lakh in cash.

In Patna, the Vigilance Bureau team has arrested Dwijendra Kumar Mishra, Executive Engineer of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BSEIDC), for taking a bribe of Rs 1.04 lakh. The team apprehended Dwijendra Kumar Mishra today from near the Golf Club gate on Bailey Road in Patna Zoo. According to the Vigilance Bureau, Ram Sagar Sharma, a resident of Kankarbagh in Patna, was caught by the team while accepting the bribe from the Executive Engineer.
