A loan scam of 1.60 crore... land worth crores on paper, but all missing from the ground.

A scam of approximately ₹1 crore 59 lakh 66 thousand has been exposed at the Khajanchi Road branch of Bank of Baroda. The fraudsters defrauded customers by swindling large sums of money for home loans and facility loans, presenting fake employer details, bank statements, and land documents. Based on a statement from Branch Manager Naveen Kumar, a case has been registered against eight individuals, including five borrowers, two direct selling agents, and a third-party verification agency in Delhi.
