Patna Municipal Corporation is strict on faulty street lights in Patna: 10-15 thousand new lights will arrive before Durga Puja, and 26 teams have been deployed to the field.

The Patna Municipal Corporation has swung into action regarding the deteriorated streetlights in the city. 10,000-15,000 new lights will be installed in Patna before Durga Puja. These instructions have been given by Municipal Commissioner Yashpal Meena, considering the upcoming festivals. Lights that frequently fail will be replaced with new ones as needed instead of being repaired. The Municipal Commissioner has directed representatives from EESL, the company responsible for maintaining streetlights, to resolve complaints promptly.
