Buddha Purnima at Punpun Ghat Halt, Hatia Express to Stop: Relief for Devotees Regarding Pitru Paksha Mela, 2-Minute Stoppage Until October 10th.

Devotees visiting Punpun Ghat for Pind Daan and Tarpan on the auspicious occasion of Pitru Paksha Mela have received a major relief. The East Central Railway Administration has decided to provide a temporary halt of two minutes each at the Punpun Ghat halt to important trains operating from Rajgir and Islampur. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra, this special arrangement will be effective throughout the entire fair period, from September 25th to October 10th.
