A theft of 1 million rupees from a closed house belonging to a JDU leader: Thieves broke into Adarsh Colony in Nawada by cutting the CCTV wire; they also took away 100,000 rupees in cash.
In Patna, India, a local news headline/summary reports that thieves targeted the locked house of JDU state general secretary Kiran Verma in Adarsh Colony Patel Nagar, Nawada. The miscreants stole valuables worth over Rs 10 lakh, including jewelry and Rs 1 lakh in cash, from the house. The incident came to light on Sunday when Kiran Verma returned home from Patna after about five days. She had gone to Patna for her husband Umesh Verma's treatment on September 15th.
