FIR against MP Pappu Yadav and 9 others in Patna: Accused of breaking a government employee's head with the butt of a pistol. Supporters claimed he first broke the car window.

A case has emerged in Patna regarding the assault of a government employee during Purnia MP Pappu Yadav's convoy at the Gardanibagh protest site. Arvind Kumar, posted as Welfare Officer in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, has filed a complaint at the Gardanibagh police station. Based on the complaint, a case (FIR) number 849/26 was registered at the Gardanibagh police station on September 23, 2026. The case involves Pappu Yadav and approximately 10 other individuals for assault and brandishing of a pistol.
