On Saturday, sudden changes in weather, strong winds, and low visibility disrupted air services at Patna Airport. Two flights (one pair) on the Delhi-Patna route had to be cancelled, while four flights were diverted without landing. A total of 21 flights were delayed throughout the day, leaving over 500 passengers stranded at the airport for hours. Many passengers missed their flights. The worst experience was faced by passengers on Air India's Delhi-Patna flight due to insurance issues.
