Following the incident in Jamui on Friday morning where two female students were burned when the battery of an e-rickshaw exploded, the transport department has intensified inspections of e-rickshaw vehicles. On Friday, the department's team conducted a search operation near Manideep School on the Malaypur station main road. During this time, approximately a dozen e-rickshaws were apprehended. Drivers were asked for their driving licenses, number plates, and other necessary vehicle-related documents. The inspection suddenly began on the main road.
