Heavy rain alert in 13 districts of Bihar: Ganga overflowing in Patna, National Highway submerged in Buxar, house submerged in river in Bettiah.

The monsoon is in a very strong position in Bihar. Several districts of the state have been experiencing intermittent rainfall for the past two days. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in 12 districts today as well. The weather is expected to remain normal in Patna and the remaining 26 districts. Many districts are likely to experience cloudy skies, with strong winds blowing at a speed of up to 50 kmph during this period. There will be relief from the humid heat. Meanwhile, several rivers in Bihar are overflowing.
