The process of organizing medical services at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) into new buildings has accelerated. By the end of the month, departments such as surgery, plastic surgery, general surgery, clinical pathology, OPD, and triage will be shifted to the new building. The surgery department in the new building will operate with 150 beds for indoor patients. The emergency department and four separate operation theaters (OTs) will also be located within this building. The hospital administration has initiated the shifting process.
