Jan Suraj announced its 5 candidates for the Bihar Legislative Council elections on Sunday. Prashant Kishor, the party's mastermind, announced the names of the candidates for five seats at a press conference held in Patna. This included Ravindra Kumar Yadav as the candidate from Darbhanga Graduate constituency and Dr. Suresh Prasad Rai from Darbhanga Teacher constituency. Both declared candidates from Darbhanga had been campaigning for 19 days.
