A domestic electricity consumer in Patna's Gulzarbagh was suddenly sent an electricity bill of ₹2 crore 33 lakh 24 thousand and 112. Seeing such a large amount, the consumer, Krishna Prasad Singh, panicked and his health deteriorated. His family members took care of him and gave him medicine. After the complaint, the electricity department corrected it the very next day, attributing it to a technical glitch in the bill. On September 30th, when he checked on his mobile, the balance was ₹206, according to Krishna Prasad Singh.
