In Banka, 2 police personnel were suspended for being absent from duty without notice; action taken due to negligence revealed in a surprise inspection.

During a special contemporary campaign conducted in Banka district, two police officers from Barahat and Rajoun police stations were suspended on Sunday for being found absent without notice. This action was taken by Superintendent of Police Amitesh Kumar. On the instructions of Police Headquarters, Patna, intensive vehicle checking and security operations were carried out in the district on October 3rd using ERSS vehicles, police patrolling vehicles, police didi scooty, motorcycles, mobile phones, and QRTs.
