Proposal to connect Khagaria with 2 Greenfield Expressways: DM requests connectors in Buxar-Bhagalpur and Patna-Purnia expressways; industry will gain momentum.

An initiative has been taken to connect Khagaria district with two major Greenfield Expressway projects in Bihar. District Magistrate Vikram Virkar has sent a proposal to the Secretary of the Road Construction Department, seeking to connect Khagaria via spur, connector, or interchange with the Buxar-Bhagalpur 6-lane and Patna-Purnia Greenfield Expressways. The DM has requested that technical and other aspects of connectivity between Khagaria be considered during the preparation of the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for both projects.
