The first interchange station of the Patna Metro will be operational by December. The train will run on the underground route for the first time in 2028, and the Patna Zoo station has been shifted to the Lok Bhavan side.

The Patna Metro has completed one year since its launch. The then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the first priority corridor of the Patna Metro on October 6, 2025, and gave it the green light.
