Bike-borne miscreants shot and injured a young man on NH-27. The injured youth is admitted to DMCH; police are searching for them.

In the Bhairavsthan police station area of Jhanjharpur, Madhubani, three bike-borne miscreants shot and injured a young man on NH-27 late Saturday night. The shooting near Lohna village left 19-year-old Avinash Kumar seriously injured; he was hit in the thigh. The incident caused panic in the area. The injured youth has been identified as Avinash Kumar, the 19-year-old son of Jitendra Thakur, a resident of Berma village in the Lakhnaur police station area.
