Patliputra Township; taking land from 273 villages is a challenge: plan to develop land in 19 core area villages in the first phase.

The government is making several efforts at the local level regarding the Pataliputra Satellite Township Project. A draft of this project has been published. The proposed area includes land from 273 villages in 9 blocks to establish a new city. The areas covered include Punpun, Naubatpur, Masaurhi, Fatuha, Sampatchak, Patna Rural, Dhanrua, Daniyawan, and Phulwari blocks. In the first phase, the city will be established on land from 19 villages, with the Punpun area being the largest in terms of land acquisition.
