In Sheikhpura, the cook association will hold a sit-in protest on September 28th to protest against pending honorariums and other demands in front of the BRC office.

A meeting of the Bihar Rajya Vidyalaya Rasoiya Sangh (ACTU) was held in Sheikhpura on Sunday in the presence of ACTU leader Kamlesh Prasad and Malwa leader Rajesh Kumar Rai. The meeting was presided over by Sabuja Devi, a leader of the Rasoiya Sangh. Dozens of cooks from various schools in Ariyari block, including Arvind Singh, Vibha Devi, Poonam Devi, Kamali Devi, Mamta Devi, Vimli Devi, and Seema Devi, participated in it. The food is being provided by NGOs to 11,000 schools.
