Life imprisonment for convict in Nalanda murder case: One accused was acquitted by the court for murdering his stepbrother over a property dispute.

In a property dispute case, the court delivered a harsh verdict on Tuesday. The court of District and Additional Sessions Judge (11) Manish Kumar of Bihar Sharif Civil Court sentenced the convicted stepbrother, Rakesh Ranjan alias Karu, to rigorous life imprisonment. Along with this, the court also imposed a fine of 20 thousand rupees on him. In case of non-payment of the fine amount, the convict will face six months in jail.
