The dream of providing high-speed connectivity to North Bihar from the capital Patna is not being fulfilled due to the sluggishness of a single construction agency. None of the three mega bridges being built on the Ganges River at a massive cost of ₹9,888 crore will be completed on schedule. Surprisingly, there are no land acquisition issues for the bridges being built parallel to Gandhi Setu and JP Setu. The Sherpur-Dighwara bridge also has land related issues.
