Samastipur - The son of the PACS chairman was shot dead with 3 bullets: He had gone from home to get groceries for his grocery store. The 5 criminals on the bike fled after firing.

In Samastipur, on Wednesday evening, bike-borne miscreants shot and injured the son of a PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Society) chairman. The victim sustained three bullet injuries in his abdomen and chest. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Begusarai. The injured has been identified as Aditya Vats alias Navneet Singh (30). The incident occurred in Mahanthi village, under the Vibhutipur police station area. PACS Chairman Sanjay Singh stated that his son was shot by bike-borne assailants around 7 pm on Wednesday evening while he was returning home from a grocery store located about half a kilometer away at the dam.
