Patna Municipal Corporation broke its own record: a record ₹3.61 crore was collected in property tax in one day, with 303 new properties coming under the tax net on the final day.

On the final day of Patna Municipal Corporation's special property tax collection drive, a record amount of over ₹3.61 crore in property tax was collected. This amount was received from more than 1,900 property owners by 7 pm on Wednesday. This is the largest single-day property tax collection so far in the current financial year. Previously, on June 30th, a record of ₹3.36 crore was collected in a single day. This record was also broken on Wednesday.
