Three children battling heart disease will receive free treatment: ambulance from Araria to Patna, and then a flight to Ahmedabad. The government will also bear the cost of their operations.

Under the National Child Health Program (RBSK), three children from the district suffering from heart disease were sent to Satya Sai Hospital in Ahmedabad on Monday for better treatment and necessary surgery. District Officer Vinod Duhan flagged off the children and their families. The entire cost of the treatment, including necessary tests and operations, will be borne by the Bihar government.
