The first death from dengue in Patna occurred when a 30-year-old school employee died in Kurji.
In Patna, 21 new patients were found in five days. The first death due to dengue occurred in Patna on Tuesday. The deceased was 30-year-old Indradev Das, an employee of Loyola School. He originally hailed from Simdega district in Jharkhand. He had been admitted to the hospital in Kurji for the past five days. According to his family, he was hospitalized after his health deteriorated. Tests confirmed a dengue infection. During treatment, his platelets continued to decrease.
