The Bihar Building Byelaws will now expedite the completion of over 3200 residential and commercial construction projects stuck in 11 urban municipal bodies in the Patna region, including Patna, Danapur, and surrounding areas. The revised Bihar Building Byelaws-2026 are set to provide significant relaxations in several old and strict conditions related to building construction. Under the new rules, the requirement to maintain a setback or vacant space around the plot has been abolished. Now, it is sufficient to maintain only one side of the building.
