The responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the 440-meter long underground sub-way connecting Patna Junction to the multi-modal hub located at GPO Golambar is set to change soon. Now, Mahavir Mandir will bear half of its maintenance expenses. Under the new arrangement, the Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas Samiti will provide approximately ₹4 lakh per month.
