The flood continues to rise in the Punpun River. After seven years, the river's water has started touching the railway bridge. Due to this, the operation of four passenger trains (63242 and 6324 Gaya-Patna, 63245 and 63247 Patna-Gaya) was suspended on Saturday on the Patna-Gaya rail section. Meanwhile, several express trains are being diverted to Gaya via Keul-Lakhisarai. Trains are being operated through alternative routes. The route passing through waterlogged areas and sensitive bridges is causing disruptions.
