Aurangabad police apprehended a fake IPS officer and recovered his mobile phone. The fake IPS officer was allegedly conducting vehicle inspections under the guise of an IPS officer. Cases have also been registered in Gaya and Jehanabad.

The Aurangabad city police have arrested a cunning criminal who was posing as a fake IPS officer to influence, intimidate, and cheat common people. The arrested youth, Vikas Kumar Gayaji, is a resident of Arkdhibaria village under the Tekari police station area in Gaya district. A mobile phone has been recovered from him. Police have registered an FIR against him at the city police station under relevant sections and initiated action.
