The government is fully alert regarding the rising water levels of rivers in the state. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has directed for special monitoring for the next 48 hours. The Air Force's help is being taken for relief and rescue work in flood-affected areas. Two helicopters of the Air Force have started air dropping packets of relief materials. On Thursday, dry rations were airlifted from Patna Airport to Panapur block in Saran for air drop.
