Lightning struck an Indigo flight, causing an emergency landing in Lucknow. The front of the plane was damaged. It was traveling from Patna to Ahmedabad.

An IndiGo flight from Patna to Lucknow was struck by lightning on Wednesday evening during bad weather, damaging the aircraft. The plane was at an altitude of approximately 17,000 feet at the time. However, the pilot used their discretion to safely land the aircraft at Lucknow Airport. There were 150 passengers on board at the time of the incident. The IndiGo flight (6E925) took off from Patna Airport at 3:10 pm on Wednesday. This same flight, flight 6E6968, was also affected.
