EOU raid at 5 locations in Bahadurpur BDO Anand Kumar: Car enthusiast, the BDO, amassed property worth ₹1.72 crore in his 12 years of service.

The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has registered a case against Anand Kumar Vibhuti, the BDO of Bahadurpur block in Darbhanga, for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The team conducted raids at five locations in Danapur, Darbhanga, Motihari, and Muzaffarpur. Anand, who became the BDO in 2014, has been in office for 12 years. Prior to this, he had a thatched house as his ancestral home. However, after becoming the BDO, he amassed substantial black money. He has accumulated over one crore rupees in Danapur and his ancestral village.
