Following government instructions, the district administration has completed the process of transferring 5 acres and 18 links of land for the construction of the new Kendriya Vidyalaya. This second Kendriya Vidyalaya in the district will be established on education department land near the commissioner's office. The government has leased this plot for 30 years at a rate of Rs 1 per year.
