The mastermind behind the former councilor's shooting has been arrested from UP. Police have also apprehended two shooters who were paid a sum of 5 lakhs for the contract. Four others have already been arrested.

In Patna, on September 23rd, Jan Suraj and former ward councilor Anil Yadav were shot. Police have arrested the mastermind, Shankar Rai, from Bihta. Two shooters involved in the incident have also been apprehended. The contract was for 500,000 rupees. On Tuesday evening, Patna Central SP Mamta Kalyani will reveal the details of the case. According to sources, a contract of 500,000 rupees was given for Anil Rai's murder. Out of this amount, 500,000 rupees had already been paid to the accused.
