Arun Bharti, the Jamui MP who met with the victim's family, announced assistance of 50,000 rupees each. He also stated that strict punishment would be ensured for the culprits.

The Jamui MP visited the victim's family in Khijrasarai, a stronghold of Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, on Wednesday. Regarding the incidents in Kudwan and Pathra villages of Khijrasarai in the district, Jamui MP Arun Bharti met with the affected families. He assured both families of justice. The party also gave both families checks for ₹50,000 each. The MP said that in this hour of crisis, the party stands by the victim's family.
