The Municipal Corporation has prepared a comprehensive plan to improve the water supply system in Patna, which will include the construction of 15 vending zones and 15 multi-purpose buildings. The expansion of water pipelines will be carried out in 60 areas of the city, and water tanks will be constructed at several locations. The entire water supply scheme is expected to cost over 500 crores. A meeting of the empowered standing committee was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Mayor Sita Sahu, where 93 important issues, including water supply, were discussed.
