A woman died after drowning in floodwaters in Danapur, Patna. Her family members retrieved her body from the water. However, they were unable to find an ambulance when taking the body to a hospital for post-mortem examination. Reluctantly, the family members carried the body on their laps and reached the hospital about 500 meters away. The deceased has been identified as Sangeeta Devi, wife of Bunty Yadav, a resident of Shahpur. It is reported that Sangeeta Devi was performing her grandmother's shraddha rituals.
