Due to the non-update of their bio-data on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal, the transfer posting, promotion, and salary increment of 52,000 teachers working in government schools across Bihar have been stalled. Despite repeated reminders from the department, the teachers did not update their data. This has created a crisis for their service books, leave applications, and retirement benefits. These include all three categories: specific, planned, and competency exam pass teachers.
