The pressure on the main line from Danapur to Kiul will decrease: freight trains will run on the Jat Dumri-Neora new railway line from today.

Following the green signal from the Commissioner of Railway Safety, newly constructed Jat Dumri-Neura railway section will start operating freight trains from Friday. With the commissioning of this new railway line, the pressure of freight trains will be completely removed from the 135 km long busy main line running from Neura-Danapur, Patna Junction, Bakhtiyarpur, and Mokama to Kiul. Now, only those freight trains will pass through the main line that need to unload their rakes at Danapur or Fatuha Yard.
