In the Athmalgola police station area of Patna district, two consecutive accidents occurred on the Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama four-lane highway on Friday. In the first road accident, a bike rider died. After the incident, angry villagers blocked the four-lane highway. During the jam, in a race to overtake vehicles, a truck and pickup collided. The accident resulted in the death of 6 goats loaded on the pickup, while the driver was seriously injured. The first incident involved the death of a young man.
