The water level of the Ganges is currently flowing above the danger mark at Ghat, and it has fallen below the warning mark in Digha.

The Ganga, Gandak, Kosi, and Burhi Gandak rivers are still above the red mark. However, in Digha, Patna, the water level of the Ganga has fallen below the danger mark by 12 cm. Similarly, Punpun, Ghaghra, and Bagmati rivers have also fallen below the danger mark. According to the Water Resources Department, there is a possibility that the water level of the Ganga will fall below the danger mark in Bhagalpur on Friday as well. On Wednesday, the water level at Gandhi Ghat in Patna was 59 cm above the red mark, and at Hathidah, it was 73 cm.
