A doctor, DK Sharma, from a private hospital in Samastipur, has been accused of negligence in the treatment of a young man. The family alleges that due to the negligence in treatment, the young man's left leg had to be amputated above the knee. After receiving the complaint, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajiv Kumar has formed an inquiry committee consisting of five doctors. The committee is required to submit its report within 7 days. Further action will be taken based on the report. The victimized youth is from Begusarai.
