The 75th anniversary of the Patna Municipal Corporation will be marked by the Patliputra Mahotsav, featuring programs at 13 different locations with distinct themes, cultural pavilions, and VR/AR zones.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Patna Municipal Corporation, a grand Patliputra Mahotsav will be organized in the city. The estimated cost for this event is around 20 to 25 crore rupees. It has been proposed to organize the Patliputra Mahotsav from November 5 to 7, 2026. The objective of this event is to bring Bihar's art, culture, and rich heritage to global recognition. According to the Municipal Corporation, the festival is expected to generate direct and indirect revenue of approximately 325 to 540 crore rupees for the city.
