BDO arrested in Banka for taking a bribe of 75,000 rupees: He had asked for the bribe for a scheme; a video of the assault surfaced just one day before.

A surveillance team from the Investigation Bureau, which arrived from Patna, took major action in Banka on Tuesday morning. The team arrested Amit Pratap Singh, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Fullidumar block, red-handed while accepting a bribe of 75 thousand rupees. The surveillance team carried out this operation at the BDO's private residence located in Nehru Colony, Banka city. After the arrest, the team took the BDO and his uncle Bachchan Prasad Singh, who was present on the spot, into custody at the Banka premises (Circumstances are unknown).
