BDO Arrested in Banka for Taking a Bribe of 75,000 Rupees: Amit Pratap Singh handed over the bribe to his uncle and sat down with his head on the ground when he was arrested.

A surveillance team from the Investigation Bureau, which arrived from Patna, took major action in Banka on Tuesday morning. The team arrested Amit Pratap Singh, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Fullidumar block, red-handed while taking a bribe of 75 thousand rupees. The surveillance team carried out this operation at the BDO's private residence located in Nehru Colony, Banka city. Following the arrest, the team took the BDO and his uncle Bachchan Prasad Singh, who was present on the spot, into custody at the Banka premises (Circuit House).
