Bihar - The monsoon is departing a week ahead of schedule: there is a possibility of rain in 8 districts today; 466 villages in 6 districts are surrounded by floods.

The departure of the southwest monsoon from Bihar has started ahead of schedule. The monsoon has withdrawn from several districts, including Patna. Typically, the monsoon departs from Bihar around October 10th to 11th, but this time, the monsoon is withdrawing almost a week earlier. However, the Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of rain in some parts of the state in the next few days. According to the department, the monsoon is retreating due to the impact of a low-pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal.
