Several cases settled through mediation in Jehanabad Lok Adalat: 8 benches constituted, number of traffic challan cases remained high.

A National Lok Adalat was organized in Jehanabad on Saturday. The event was conducted under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, and the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, Patna. The District Legal Services Authority, Jehanabad, coordinated the event. It was inaugurated by Satish Kumar Dev, Principal Judge of the Family Court. This Lok Adalat covered various categories such as criminal cases, bank loans, electricity disputes, family disputes, motor accident claims, cheque bounce, and BSNL-related matters.
