In Bihar, there is a demand for an increase in the salary of junior doctors, stating that their salaries have not been increased for 8 years. They will go on an indefinite strike if their demands are not met.
Non-academic junior resident doctors from SKMCH in Muzaffarpur and other government medical colleges in Bihar have demanded a salary hike and resolution of salary-related issues. They have submitted a memorandum to the Minister of Health and Family Welfare regarding this matter. On behalf of the doctors, Dr. Krishna Murari Sharma, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, and Dr. Abhishek Kumar Verma have drawn the government's attention to this serious problem through the memorandum.
