Bihar receives 40% less rainfall in 82 days of monsoon: The monsoon will depart 12 days early; find out how much rain there will be in September.

In Bihar, the rainfall data is significantly behind normal after three months of the monsoon season. As of August 31st, the state should have received 775.7mm of rain, but only 469.3 mm was recorded. This translates to approximately 40% less rainfall than expected. Although the monsoon started around its usual time this year, it has been followed by weak activity, resulting in low rainfall. There are no significant signs of improvement in September, the final month of the monsoon season.
